The ceremony honored high achievers with scholarships and certificates, motivating
students and recognizing academic excellence.
Qirat and Naat kicked off the program, followed by a documentary on the Regional Director's initiative. Dignitaries distributed certificates and scholarships. - 116 students gained admission in FG Colleges (89 in FG PG, 25 in Degree College, 2 in Science Degree). - PKR 1.44 million fee waiver granted.- PKR 1.91 million scholarships awarded. - Government promised FGEI aid.
The 3rd Education Expo, held on 2nd April 2026 at FG Postgraduate College for Women,
Wah Cantt, emerged as a vibrant celebration of academic excellence, guidance, and
opportunity. Organized under the auspices of the Regional Office Wah, the event stood
as a testament to the region’s commitment to empowering youth through informed
educational choices.
At the heart of this successful endeavor was the visionary leadership of Prof. Zohra
Jabeen, Principal of FG Postgraduate College for Women, who headed the organizing
committee. Her dynamic stewardship, meticulous planning, and unwavering dedication
ensured that the event was conducted with remarkable professionalism and elegance.
Under her guidance, the expo transformed into a well-coordinated, student-centered
platform, seamlessly blending information, inspiration, and interaction.
The organizing team comprised Dr. Rabia Kamal (BS Coordinator), Dr. Muhammad Idrees
(Senior BS Coordinator, FG Degree College for Men), and Dr. Muhammad Farooq (FG
Science Degree College), whose collective efforts contributed significantly to the success

On 16th of April , 2026 , Regional Excellemce Award Ceremony 2026 is hosted by the F.G. Postgraduate College for Women Wah Cantt , in which distiguished guests from the Region and Directorate honored the students , teachers and Head of Institutions on their remrkable achievements. Federal Government Postgraduate College for Women Wah Gantt is under the administrative control of the Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantts/Garrisons). The College had a modest beginning as an educational institution in 1954 when it appeared on the scene as a Primary School. The Cantonment Board with the help of POF converted four "C" type bungalows into a small school. Within a short time, sheer hard work of the founder Principal and the staff made higher authorities realize the importance of female education. Soon a high school was constructed to cope with the ever-increasing population.
In 1956 it was given the status of an Intermediate College.The high-quality results and continuous efforts converted this college to the Degree Level in 1967. In January 1975 it came under the Federal Government. In 1988 M.A English classes commenced and in 2004, M.A / M.Sc in Economics, Mathematics and Psychology was introduced. The college-initiated BS 4 years programme in Six disciplines i-e English, Mathematics, Economics, Islamic Studies, Information Technology and Botany in the year 2019 to provide students with the latest avenues of education. By the grace of Allah BS Programme in Applied Psychology was commenced in the fall 2021 and BS Program in Computer Science from National University of Pakistan in 2024.
Thus, the dreams came true and FG Postgraduate College for Women has become the pride of Wah Gantt. FG Postgraduate College for Women is situated on the Mall just across the Ordnance Club. The quiet scenery is not only conducive for study but also inspires to pursue intellectual goals. The college has a comprehensive library of about 18,676 books as well as a reference room. The girls are encouraged to consult the library and the qualified librarian is always there to help them. In addition, the library provides periodicals and special editions to accommodate the student's educational learning process.

The aim of Houses System is to conduct structured academics, co-curricular and extra- curricular competitions within institutions to explore and polish latent talent of the students and teachers through healthy and progressive competitions.
A number of societies exist in the college. These societies operate on academic lines and are purely for academic objectives. The societies voluntarily contribute in the activities of the college.
