EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL VISIT TO TAXILA MUSEUM AND MABALI
An educational and recreational trip to the Taxila museum and Mabali was organized by FG Post Graduate College for Women, Wah Cantt on 13th January, 2026. The trip commenced at 9:00 a.m. with a group photo with the esteemed principal, attended by students of semester 5 and 7 from the English department. Following this formal beginning, the group departed
for Taxila Museum, a site of great historical and cultural importance.
At the Taxila Museum, students explored a remarkable collection of artifacts from the pre-Christian era, reflecting strong Greek influence in the region. Among the most significant displays were the statues of Aphrodite and the Sun God from Sirkap, both of which depicted elements of Greek civilization before the birth of Christ. After the museum visit, the group proceeded to Mabali. Upon arrival, students were served refreshments, after which they enjoyed a boating activity, adding a recreational dimension to the trip. Lunch was served at approximately 2:00 pm.followed by a lively tug of war competition between students of semester 5 and 7. This activity encouraged teamwork, friendly competition, and
interaction among students, strengthening bonds within the department. The group departed from Mabali at around 5 pm marking the conclusion of a well organized excursion. Overall, the trip successfully combined academic enrichment with enjoyment, recreational informative, engaging, making it an and memorable experience for all participants.

Scholarship and Certificate Distribution Ceremony

Objective: Inspiring students to strive for excellence, contributing to national development.
The ceremony honored high achievers with scholarships and certificates, motivating
students and recognizing academic excellence.
Qirat and Naat kicked off the program, followed by a documentary on the Regional Director's initiative. Dignitaries distributed certificates and scholarships. - 116 students gained admission in FG Colleges (89 in FG PG, 25 in Degree College, 2 in Science Degree). - PKR 1.44 million fee waiver granted.- PKR 1.91 million scholarships awarded. - Government promised FGEI aid.
