Iqbal Day Celebration at PG College Wah Cantt

F.G. Postgraduate College, Wah Cantt, celebrated Iqbal Day with great zeal and enthusiasm to pay tribute to the “Poet of the East,” Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, whose visionary thoughts inspired the creation of Pakistan. The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Naat and national songs that reflected patriotic spirit. Students presented thoughtful speeches and poetry highlighting Iqbal’s philosophy of Khudi, his dream of a separate homeland, and his message for the youth to rise and strive for excellence. The faculty members also shared insights into Iqbal’s intellectual legacy and his contributions to Islamic revivalism. The program concluded with a motivational address by the Principal, who emphasized the importance of following Iqbal’s teachings in personal and national development. Pink Day Celebration

The PG College Wah Cantt celebrated Pink Day with great enthusiasm and spirit to promote awareness about women’s health and the importance of breast cancer prevention. Faculty members and students actively participated, dressed in shades of pink to show solidarity and support for the cause. The college auditorium was beautifully decorated with pink ribbons and balloons, symbolizing hope and strength. Students delivered informative presentations, speeches, and skits highlighting the significance of early detection and self-care. The principal appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and encouraged everyone to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Seminar on "Geo Political Environment "

On 27th October 2025 , A Seminar was conducted by F.G. Postgraduate College for Women, Wah Cantt on the topic of "Geo Political Environment , A Challenge to Pakistan and its Possible Response. The guest speaker of the seminar was Senator Lt. Gen (R) Abdul Qayyum. The reigional Director Col. Abdul Wali Khan along with his team was the presiding guest.
The Speaker very effectively highlights the current situation of national affairs and role of strategic and government organizations in the integriry of the country. "KASHMIR BLACK DAY"

PG College observed Kashmir Black Day with great solemnity and patriotic spirit to mark the unlawful occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by Indian forces on October 27, 1947. The event aimed to raise awareness among students about the historical injustice faced by the people of Kashmir and to express solidarity with their ongoing struggle for self-determination.
The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by speeches highlighting the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people. The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the independence and prosperity of Kashmir and Pakistan.
Parent Teacher Meeting

A parent Teacher meeting after HSSC pre board exams has been held at F.G. Postgraduate College for Women, WAH CANTT on 4th April 2024 with the purpose of highlighting the academic problems of the students with their parents and try to provide some realistic and applicable solution for the betterment of their child's future. A large number of parents have visited the college premises for the meeting and shown their concern about their children. Overall the Parent Teacher Meeting was a successful event.

In the month of March, a bonfire evening was celebrated in the College , under the supervision of Honorable Principal Madam Rubana Waqar & Madam Rubab Shahana. Our Worthy Regional Director along with his family was the chief guest of the event. The event consists of different stalls for the visitors and a musical night after words.

Inauguration of Staff Rooms & College Hall at PG College

The recent developments in the College includes the renovation of All the Staff Rooms and reconstruction of the College auditorium along with the construction of BS Block under the supervision of visionary Regional Director Col. Yasir Ali Shah who is always ready to provide best facilities to the Schools & Colleges of WAH Region.

Postgraduate College for Women WAH CANTT organized a function to pay a tribute to their honorable teachers on 5th October 2023 in the College Hall. They express their gratitude towards the hardworking, devotion and dedication of their teachers to play vital role in their nourishment. Principal Madam Rubab Shahana cut the cake at the end of the ceremony presented by the students.

On 6th May 2023 , FG Postgraduate College for Women WAH CANTT organized a gathering named as Alumni Reunion in which All the graduates, faculty members and formal Principals were invited to grace this evening. The College Management highly appreciated the participation of all the alumni members. On the other hand Alumni members appreciated the College administration for the arrangements and dinner.
Welcome to New Principal

Ms. Rubab Shahana has taken the charge as College Principal on 16 June 2023. A warm welcome from the whole College staff is given to the new Principal. Being the Graduate of the same College, the honorable Principal invited some of the Previous Principals also to grace the event. Ms. Rubab Thanked all the staff and guests and expressed her determination, dedication and commitment for the betterment of the College.
Farewell to PG College Principal

Mrs. Naheed Zaheer , Principal of FG Postgraduate College has completed her service , and retired on 15 June 2023 with a great honor from the College Staff. A fare well ceremony has been conducted in the honor of respected principal. The stage Secretary , Ms. Sweeba on the behalf of whole staff expressed the feelings of sorrow and sadness on the retirement of the principal. The principal thanked each and every staff member of the college collectively in her concluding remarks.
